We are incredibly pleased to announce that our Aberystwyth store has gained a maximum rating of 5 stars in the latest edition of the ETO magazine!

Here’s the review:

“Halfway up the West coast is this pretty little town, complete with funicular, ruined castle and Pier. There’s also a fine little sex shop close to the seafront, which isn’t so little once inside. The compact frontage hides a long shop which only gets longer when you realise the R18 films you thought were missing are actually beyond a partition at the back.

The chain’s silvery-wood effect and blue slatwall above a light wood-a-like floor looked crisp and clean. The stock was a mix of quality brands, including Wild Designs lingerie and playwear (PVC schoolgirl £39.99) and Colt toys, in quality packaging. A grand range, clearly displayed. A demo shelf by double-enders held the only thing i didn’t like the look of; a slightly grubby dildo that’d benefit from a scrub.

Beyond the smart partition was an equally impressive selection of £29.99 DVD’s, including latest releases and multi-buy deals, and magazines, and I browsed with a couple who were clearly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere as much as me. An attentive manageress who got a ‘really nice’ accolade on my notes completed a first class shopping experience.

In terms of location, presentation, range, character and prices this store gets a full five stars without a moments pause, and is a serious contender for this years best shop.”

To get a 5 Star rating from someone who visits hundreds of sex shops every year is a great feeling! We are very proud of our store and it is nice that all the hard work and efforts are apreciated by the Public.

And, by the way: the dildo that the mystery shopper mentioned (The famous John Holmes life-like cast) He’s gonna get a scrubbing like he’s never been scrubbed before!! :o)
